Boiler Servicing, Breakdowns & Installs
A boiler service includes the following; flue analysis (to check the boiler is burning correctly), check all safety features are working, check the gas pressures are correct and if necessary clean the combustion chamber.
If the breakdown with your boiler or heating system is caused by an intermittent fault you may have to wait until the fault persists before we can find it and repair it. It’s simply not possible to find a fault that's not there at the time. While we understand the frustration this causes, we don’t want to charge you a call-out un-necessarily. So, if the fault is intermittent please tell us!
If your boiler has to be replaced we will usually be happy to quote for a replacement. We will ring you with a verbal quotation and, if you are happy to go ahead, we will then send you the quotation in writing. The quotation will be free of charge and we will ask you for an email address as we normally send quotations by email.
If we are installing, our first choice of manufacturer is Vaillant. This is based simply on the fact that have found Vaillant's backup, service and reliability to be excellent and their spares availability second to none.
We are Vaillant Accredited Installers and can extend their warranty to 10 years. Their warranty is serviced by their own engineers and covers all parts and labour on the boiler (subject to their terms and conditions). We will include the cost of the extension warranty in the replacement quotation. One condition of their warranty is that the new appliance must be serviced annually, by a Gas Safe Registered engineer.
We work with mains gas (natural gas) and LPG.
Sorry, we do not repair cookers and hobs.
